Fingers crossed for you, but as has been said to everyone who has written something similar, the rehoming team WILL get to you, and they don't get it wrong! They may match you with another bird but if not, I would certainly recommend safehousing. You learn so much about the different species and it is very satisfying.

I know it will all work out for the best. I have read over the forum a little and I can see the Birdline team are a dedicated bunch who always match the birds up correctly. If we are not the right home then that is best for that specific bird and I understand that part of it, I am just an impatient little so and so LOL

The safehousing side of it does sound very rewarding, just knowing that you would be helping a bird getting to a better home, but I know what I am like I would probably not want to give any back hee hee

You wont be told on the day, they will need to come back and discuss the results of the homecheck with the relevant managers.  Either way you will get a phonecall once they have made a decision, but it wont be there and then hun.
