As in Kongs for dogs? If so they are made from a very strong type of rubber and used to put treats inside to keep dogs occupied.  I fill my dogs  with a bit of peanut butter or biscuits etc  - then place in freezer before giving to the dog if I have to go out. Keeps her busy.  I expect you could possibly use same idea for parrots.

Sheena its a fruit lol

It looks like a lychee inside small pips like an orange but white flesh. no big pip in it like the lychee. on the outside its like a rubbery skin slighly yellow/brown and is grown in malasia but cant find any referance to birds eating them anywhere. Its tasy though only about in inch in circumferance just like lychee.

Well something new to me never heard of such a fruit but then I do live in north northumberland!  Though perhaps filled Dog Kongs would keep birds occupied too.

Are they a relative of the lychee? If so, lychees are safe.

i've had a look and it's related to the Lang sat Paula. It's edible as are the seeds so I would say it was ok for your parrots.

I would give them to mine to try. Some are bitter and some are sweet! It's the luck of the draw what you get.
