With all the hundreds of birds that have gone through here I've only had two Jardines. Both were very nippy, headstrong birds, both were beautiful but difficult and unreliable. I don't know enough about them to make a judgment on the breed, but it's a bit of a coincidence that both birds had the same kind of temperament. Both of them are Fostered by Birdline people, I don't know if there are any other ACOs that have dealt with them.

They are difficult birds, there is no doubt about that, but if you can be firm with them and not them get away with being bossy they are very sweet and rewarding birds.

Ruth,

Get a photobucket account at www.photobucket.com Resize your pics to around 500 x 600 and then save them in photobucket. Then to put the images in your posts, cut and paste the IMG code from under the relevant picture. It's all done that way to ensure that the forum doesn't have to be so huge it becomes unmanageable.

Hope this helps.

Btw, I don't know much about Jardines and would LOVE to see your pics
