Hello, my name is Sparky and I'm a Lesser Sulpur Crested Cockatoo, and I have a cheeky little chip on my shoulder.... but it is only a small chip honest.

Ii'm most certainly a daddies boy. I have to tell you I really don't like those people called women and I will bite them, but I love men and will give them all the love and attention that we both need. I have had a terrible couple of years and have been abandoned a couple of times but my safehouse dad is teaching me that cages are not something to be scared of and I will spend time playing very happily in there now but I do prefer if you are in the room with me. If you do need to go out I will scream for a few minutes and then play quietly until you come back home. Like all Cockatoo's, I have my noisy moments. I do like a cup of tea to share with my dad in a morning and I will ask you for "cup of tea Sparky". I'll also lift my wings and ask you for a tickle. Oh and don't worry about forgeting my bed time... I'll tell you "night night" when I want to go to bed. I like to sleep in a different room where I can sleep in peace. I will make a lovely companion for my new dad and will be very happy being your cheeky little shadow. I'll kiss and cuddle you all day long if you want. So come on guys give me a home! I have so much love I just want to share and it all comes wrapped up in a white parcel that always has that cheeky glint in it's eye.

Hi I am Rocky and I’m a magnificent Ducorps cockatoo and I’m a big 4yr old.

I had a hard start in life and my safe house mum says I need to write a special begging letter to all you nice people out there who could offer me a lovely forever home. These are my requirements in life. I would like a nice lady friend too look after me, I don’t mind those men things but don’t expect me to fall in love and cuddle one!!!!!! My safe house mummy has these two grey birds and I don’t like them much, they are loud and when they came to visit me in my room I hissed and screamed at them I even fluffed myself up they must have been scared as she took them away again....she won’t be bringing them to visit any time soon I made sure she knew I didn’t like big birds although I used to like the karaka I lived with once. You need to like trainee hairdressers..... As I am work in progress I snip my own feathers!!!! I call it trendy my safe house mum sprays them with aloe juice for me. If you let me I will preen your hair to and I promise to be good and not snip too much off.  I have a few things that I don’t mind telling you nice people if you promise not to tell everyone else......I’m terrified of brushes and mops! My safe house mummy doesn’t know why, so she moves me so I’m not scared when she uses them. Oh and while I’m on it there is one of those spotty smelly boy things here and he wears a black t-shirt which scares me stiff it has a big white adidas print thing on. There are nice benefits for you too; I love cuddles but prefer for now to stay on my cage for them but I’m getting better. I wish I could be brave enough to climb on her knee, I know I would love a real snuggle and I hope you would be patient and let me do this in my own time. I do need work on that thing she calls step up!!!!! WHAT is that all about ...suppose one day I will have to do it but I’m holding out on her lol. I am happy to spend a few hours alone but I will want to come out of the cage when you come home, in fact I will demand this as soon as I see you. One final thing, I WILL EAT ANYTHING you give me or you try to eat without me!!!! It won’t happen unless I get a bit!!!!

Hi my name is Peanuts. I am a Lesser Sulphur Crested Cockatoo.

I am looking for a home with someone who has patience and love, and understands that I do like to bite every now and then.  I love to fool you and make the sound of a telephone ringing, just to see if you go to answer it, and I like to ask you to give us a kiss.  I am very fast, so I need somone who is experienced with cockatoos as I am very unpredictable.  I do like children, girls are my favourite, I am not too keen on those other ones....you know the ones the boys!!!  But in time I will get better hopefully or so my safehouse mummy says, but I will probably always be not too keen on boys.   I love my food, especially potato and chicken, I like to play, and I am ok playing on my own if you need to go to work to earn lots of pennies to spoil me with.

I do come with my own cage which is ok, but my safe house mummy says a new cage would be better. I am currently living in Herne Bay, Kent.
