Hi Guys,

I was very worried about Oliver plucking,it started just a few days ago...I moved him and Jura to a bigger room which I thought would be better for them to fly about,so for the first few days things were fine...until I noticed Oliver plucking away at his breast...Oh no i thouht why has he started to do this? things were going so well.

I contacted Donna as i was so worried, she said she was coming out to see us anyway for our 6 week check,so Donna came today and had a look at Oliver and gave me some helpful tips and also find the cause of him plucking.

I had moved Oliver and Jura back to there original room, before Donna came to visit and found that he had stopped plucking,i told Donna this and Donna asked if there had been any other changes  that might have started him plucking, well we had a very large tv unit deliverd and it was put in the room where the birds original were.it was then i noticed Oliver plucking so that may well have been the cause because he was fine before the unit came in.

Thanks Donna for all your help your a gem x

And a big merry xmas to you all and your flock xxx from Margaret xxx

Sometimes it can be something that we wouldnt think about, so hopefully you have found the cause and Oliver has got over his upset, Good Luck.

Greys can be such fussy little devils and they love to make us worry - at least it seems to be sorted now Margaret.

Olly is their Ammy Helen, their Grey is Jura and he's a right  character and doesn't seem to bother his little red bum about anything
