Awww nelson picked the broom by the handle the other day, told him he could sweep the floor, I like the plastic stuff under the cages, did'nt think of that, have to go and get some now I pay mine pea'nuts for the help---not in the shells of coourse

My one aim is to serve the parrots in my care, to help those to weak to defend themselves, and bring alittle happiness into their lives, I prefer parrots to people but can handle them in moderation :)

Mine get spoiled, paid in walnuts.

Re. the plastic stuff under the cages, it's great, protects the floors well. Also I have just discovered, screw it up, pop in washing machine, no detergent, 30 degrees quick wash and it comes out clean and sparkling and very nearly dry.

Just for info Staples the stationery store do a firm plastic that is designed to protect you from static in offices with cheap nasty nylon carpet, as per my office, it has little pegs in it if you have carpet to stop it from slipping and is really durable and easy to clean.

thanks i am going to floors are us to get some of the carpet protector later today, don't know why i did not think of it would save alot of mess and washing of my laminate floor., mind you i expect nelson will just see it as something to play and chew lol
