Hi, I am terrible at introducing myself but I'll give it a go. I am a parrot nut and I'm lucky enough to work with them and count my blessings everytiime I arrive at work and hear the lovely screams hehehe. I live in paignton with 3 lovely cockatiels and sometimes my family macaw Sam, 2 dogs and a rat called timbo. I really hope I can help by rehoming a bird for you guys at some point and I'm awaiting a call about it (fingers crossed) hope that was ok and so far I have found the forum topics really interesting x

Miku,

Hi and welcome. You're showing as a 'Registered User' here on the forum. Not sure if you've not joined yet or if your status hasn't been updated. I'm sure someone will have explained that in order to foster or safehouse you have to be a paid up member. Only £20 a year though - a real bargain to9 help our feathered friends.

We love to see pictures of people's birds on here - so please introduce us to your tiels, whatever their names are and Sam, of course.

Hi and welcome Olga

I live in Brixham with my BL CAG Norman, my two dogs, my hubby Bryan and a little BL safehouse birdy ( cannot tell you what, due to forum rules! )

Lovely to have you aboard. Where are you lucky enough to work with birds?

Hello, your job sounds amazing. I get to work with the others side of it all, selling the toys and perches etc, but I do have 9 Macaws of my own to keep me busy!
Would love to see some of your pictures!!

Hi Olga, great to see you on here. I saw Jan yesterday and she hasn't forgotten about you but isn't in the best of health atthe moment. I am sure she will be out to see you soon. She and Adi ewere working very hard last week getting things ready for the show last weekend. There's always lots going on... Anyway to continue the introductions, I live in Brixham, as you know, next door but one to SharonL, with (currently) two GW macaws, one Galah, and two black headed caiques. The macaws want to kill the caiques, the caiques think it is hilarious and fly off. The dog can't hear, or see, very well so doesn't have a clue what is going on. Did I say it's a mad house?

Hi Miku

I'm new on here and ... hooked already!!! Thinking of safe housing myself, before fostering.
