Hi folks,
I have only just joined the site and have loved reading your posts, I really do feel for all those awaiting calls ect haha it must be so hard but well worth it in the end I think its a wonderful way to find these amazing birds safe and happy homes and hope you all find your perfic parrots soon. I am looking into becoming a safe house as it seems like an extremely rewarding thing to do, I have had loads of experience with birds from finches to macaws and have holiday sat for many friends birds, so I'm sure it wont be long before I'm sitting here waiting for 'the call' hahaha, anyway . . . just wanted to say Hi, and best of luck to you all.

Hi Potty or S (not sure what we should call you)
Welcome to the Forum. Glad you've enjoyed it so far. As Tina has already asked you, whereabouts are you? It's great that you have birdie experience and want to safehouse. Ino rder to do so you need to join BL, only £20 a year. All our safehouses and foster homes have to maintain their membership (which mostly goes to fund vets bills for sick birds.)
Do you have any birds at the moment? As you can see from the photo, I'm 'owned' by our 2 BL Foster CAGs, Charlie & Joey. |
