Brilliant Scarlett. I promise I willl try and get organised and plan ahead when I need some.......

Does anyone know if Harrisons do any samples. It would be a great thing if they did. I bet loads of people do not want to shell out for a 1lb bag only for their birdie to turn their beak up..... Even if there was a nominal (say £1) charge, refundable against a future purchase????

I am lucky, Koda 'tiel took to it straight away, but if sample packs of these products were available, I am sure more would try.

I got free samples from Midland Parrots, and like you said, well worth it as none of my lot will eat it!!

Lots of us use Tidymix, but you'd struggle to beat the 10% discount that they offer to BL members anyway, but it would be interesting to see if you can

hi scarlet harrisons do send out samples....but there the tiny-est packets (all you do is e-mail them).

only prob with these tiny packets is it's only enough for 1 feed, and birds don't generally like them at 1st.

it takes a week or 2 to convert them unless you've got a really stubborn bird lol

 

Well I can`t beat Tidymix prices, lol!! I know that, the trade price is not much under their retail price so I would struggle to match it let alone beat it!! But...I will work on it.

Thanks Belle, so people would need a little more in the free samples? I guess it`s difficult for them to give too much away though.
