This is a serious question and not just for fun. As someone with a business I am interested to know...
If you could chose any colour for a cage what would it be? |

Interesting to know. I am looking into different coloured cages and the availability. ther than Kings Cages they are limited to Stone or Antique so it is interesting to hear what the customers actually WANT. Your input is appreciated as always x |

Green and white for me, guess what would be camoflaged (Just realised I have absolutely no idea how to spell that!). How about a wood effect? |

I'm with Mandy - grey or gunmetal really - very dark colours show CAG dust too easily |

grey is my colour choice too. Also I prefer flat tops and so many are domed......why????? A flat top gives the birds an area to play when they are out. And don't even get me going on perch colours! Has anyone anything good to say about white ones? One dose of pomegranate and they are stained for life. Not even a go in the dishwasher on hot shifts it. |

White! I love white, it always looks so clean and fresh (as long as it is clean and fresh!) Colours that correspond to peoples decor would always be popular as well as colours that you don't normally find when buying a cage. A pale, capuccino brown would be nice, pale to discuise the dust but would contrast well with a lot of peoples rooms and obviously it is a little different, my room is predominatly browns but my accent colour is teal, I would love a teal coloured cage - it would fit in perfectly! As already mentioned - purple as well as red would be popular as well I think. I would look at current colour trends in interior decoration if you want to supply something a little different, I think it would be very popular, I was looking at a used cage today actually (just got a little baby lovebird last week!) that was going cheap but was rusty, so I called a local powder coating company for a quote and just automatically said I would like white but you have me thinking now.... |

I like grey (or bare steel), I think white cages of an appropriate size look a bit 1960s. If I was going to live inside it I'd probably go with black. Associated question: How long do cages last? Should I expect to change it in about 5yrs for rusted scratches and broken doorlocks? |

Depends on the cage Ian. I have a few Montana's and they seem to last forever!A friend has an older one of mine, which was 5 years old when I bought it, I had it for 3 years, it's now been 2 years since I sold it and it's STILL going strong! Saying that the newer Montana's dont seem 'quite' as good as the older one's, but so they say - Nothing is built like it used to be!
Definately the cheaper the cage, the more often you can expect to replace them. If you pay less than £80 - £100 for a brand new cage (larger cage that is), expect to replace it within a couple of years easy, despite how well looked after it may be. Been there, done that! |

The new Rainforest Cages are brilliant. In the last few years I feel the quality of the Montanas has dropped, they`re using a thinner metal and we`ve had sharp bits on ours. The Rainforests are much heavier duty, spares are available and all in all they are the best value cages in my opinion. Plus....anyone who buys a Rainforest cage from us in November gets 4 FREE TOYS!! Yay!! |
