Hello again - Debbie here!!

See I told you not to worry - after our long chat on the phone I knew that she would be very happy with you - it seems after your spending sprees she is going to be a spoilt little girl.

With regards to screaming from the rooftops who you are rehoming. I personally would wait a little while. As for every successful applicant there are some very disappointed unsuccessful ones. Although they will have been notified by email not everyone picks up their emails straight away and they may well pop onto these forums first. It isn't a nice way to find out you were not successful.

I think technically you can say now but personally to spare other applicants feelings I would leave it a short time.

Congratulations and I know you will be very happy together.

x

Aww, thankyou Debbie, that was a really sweet messege. Yes I think you could be quite right she will be one very spoilt little girl and now it has been confirmed i can really start buying her presents!
As for screaming from the rooftops i cannot promise anything but i won't tell anybody on here just yet! I will keep everyone posted with pictures when she arrives, but i do care for other peoples feelings so i will keep it on the down-low for a little while.

Following my previous chat with Clair in the chat room, when i said "just recieved a call from Mel today to say that she will be coming home with us" just to let you all know, i did not mean that i am taking Mel home with me! (I don't have a spare cage)

xx

LOL Nick....Yes please do keep us upto date on her progress (with pics of course) once you get her home.

I didn't for one minute think you would be taking Mel home with you - I mean who in their right mind would apply to foster Mel - that is taking on one heap of mischief....and good luck getting her in a cage!...Oh and she would come with a shed load of birdies!!....LOL

If you're building an aviary for Mel, you will have to leave the radio on for her through the night, one of those weird fettish type things I think! PMSL

PS She is a loud and talks for england but not too much screaming!! Her plummage is a little multi coloured and its high maintenance LOL

Enjoy your 'proper' new arrival!!
