Just thought id id introduce myself

My name is daz and have been keeping reptiles for 10yrs now mainly the larger species LOL,and kept birds of prey also (awaiting new 1) hopefully this season.

Iv always had a big love for animals,me and my dad used to breed fish and budgies,finches when i was a nipper,but i always wanted a parrot.my dads friend used to have a hyacinth macaw named jasper and i fell in love with him,again i was only a kid LOL

A friend of mine now has a african grey and scarlet macaw who i spend alot of time with,but really want 1 or a couple of my own,but want to give 1 that needs a new home rather than going out and buying.im no expert but have alot of time on my hands and could give 1 all the love and attention they deserve.

Ill be sure to ask if i get stuck,and iv done alot of research and still am researching

anyways just thought id say hi and introduce myself

Thanks,i could offer both foster and safe house,but id end wanting to keep anything that comes through the door LOL

My dream birds being a umbrella cockatoo,blue & gold macaw and a toucan,1 day ill have all 3 LOL

Iv done alot of rescuing with the reptiles and dogs and dedicated my time to them with  most of them being good results,but have had losses aswell,which can be heartbreaking for me and my family but we always carry on providing the best care possible for all animals and try to make a difference and improve their quality of life,so if i can do this with the parrots/birds then great bring it on,i love a challenge and never give up no matter what it takes.

Nadia is just over 4ft and a real handfull,but loads better than what she was

 Larry is 6ft and puppy dog tame,my best mate he is,he loves his cudles,baths,stroked etc LOL

hiya steve iv rescued a number of iggies over the time iv been into reptiles,i used breed the boas many yrs ago but always wanted bigger,im just awaiting the arrival of my newbie a sumatran reticulated python,she hatched at just under 3ft and her mom is nearly 24ft,shes a big girl LOL cant wait.

And LOL the 2 monitors have big ole vivs but in there own room,and im just having a sort out to make room for a parrot or 2
