Poppy loves to play in her new pasta tub

Billy likes to join in too

Although not because he enjoys digging for foot toys

But because he knows it annoys Poppy so much, it is a sure fire way to start a fight!

Typical caiques, they are up to something all the time. It's not hard to get pictures of something that makes me smile. They brighten every day!

I agree mandy I will have to rememer the pasta tub idea for any other birds I get - Candi wont sit in anything that isnt a couch or a knee or a shoulder lol so wouldnt work with her - she has no interest in toys, but a fabby idea for playful inquisitive birds

I think everyone should have at least 1 caique, but 2 is always better as Im sure Lorna would agree!

You're right, Mandy. No parrot plays like a caique can, and with the best will in the world we can't really replace a feathery playmate. I would always encourage people to keep two caiques together. When I see Billy and Poppy playing hard together, I realise how much Billy was missing out on when he was on his own.
