Hi everyone thank you for your messages. Well I was a little too late, unfortunately for me but great news for the companion bird. I think I need to wait for the new list as possibily most parrots have been rehomed and with having children I have to be careful on which I can apply for, for both the children and the parrot as I would hate to make he/her miserable.

Eagerly awaiting the new list, does anyone roughly know when they are put on the website.

Thank you for you messages. I am an eager beaver, just so looking forward to having an addition in our house. There seems to be nothing else that me and my husband talk about at the moment lol.

It can take a while as the rehoming team have to be 100% certain the bird you apply for is suitable for you and your family. You will one day get to give a forever home to a lucky bird, good luck next time and as you say a new updated list will be up soon

Thanks Steve for you comments, oh I know they will have to look into all my circumstances and me too I need to be honest and sure on each parrot I look at with having children and everything else that comes with a family lol.

Hi Lorraine, definately fingers crossed for you becoming a safe house mum. I will keep you all updated next time on my application, I just saw Birdline recently after someone mentioned it from another Afirican Grey charity website so was a little too late for this list. But its so great to see so many parrots are being rehomed.

Marc, one of the directors updates the list. Unfortunately i saw on Facebook last week that their internet was down, and this is a bit of a recurring problem for him. Hopefully he'll have more than his phone to work on soon and the lists will be updated. Hang on in there folks!

Hopefully the list will be updated soon, we usually wait abouts 2 weeks for everyone to see the new birds on before we start contacting applicants, but dont worry we will be touch
