that sounds great, my hens have a big run 8x8ft with a large shed of their own and they still shout at me in the morning to go in the garden, I cringe at weekend because of the neighbours lol. I don't know which will b easier hens or a parrot lol, they are very cheeky.

After trying out the first bag, I must say that the pancakes has been the favourites here, even if all has been tasted. Willow branches has been appreciated, but since I have a huge apple tree in my garden, I too liked the fact that you've given the option to buy without the willow. (Even if it is the same price without willow.. intended?)

A word of advice is to freeze as soon as it arrives, and only take out what is needed, as it goes mouldy quite quickly. (Good sign, dont get me wrong!)

Will come back for more for sure, like the sound of the chili pancakes!

Unless I add preservatives (which I don't want to do) they must be treated as fresh and yes to freeze immediately is better. Freezing immediately also helps to contain the vitamins etc in them.

What I have done is take the willow out and add an extra 50gm of cake instead which comes to the same cost price - or that is what I was doing - will go in and check as I changed and added the ones without willow late at night.
Thanks and glad that they all seem to enjoy them so far. Is there any that isn't worth doing?

I only have 2 more charity open days that I will be attending (which are on my website) where you could pick up cakes at the price without delivery if I am in your area. Each year I am around the country in different areas so it is worth checking.
Thanks

Of course, that's why I said it's a good sign that they go mouldy

Ahhh that makes sense regarding the price, never mind me.. have not had enough coffee yet clearly!

I wouldnt say there is any not worth doing, as taste is as different as there are parrots I presume! Wait and see for more feedback perhaps

Just one thought; There is salt added to your pancakes. Any chance they would work without the salt?

Thanks for the feedback Nina

Yes I can leave the salt out, I did consider this and it is the only ones that I added a pinch which makes 15 pancakes, but as you say it would be better without. Many thanks for that suggestion.

I think that most of the birds so far have enjoyed the pancakes the best, so I am going to come up with some other varieties.

I will also do some packs where you can pick from a variety, so that if there is one they do not like you can leave it out - but I need some more sugar in my tummy to think this one out

Thanks for everything
