Hiya , Didnt mean to cause offence by the term clicky it is again a figure of speech that when typed rather than spoken can sound bad rather than positive and as Saul said it was meant in the postive sense. I realise that everyone is always welcome to all events and such but then there is a lot more down South going on as they freely admit than up here in Teeside. As it has been pointed out that members meet up at times for a cuppa/drink etc but it isnt possible for that to happen here as there is so few of us safehouses or even members here in comparison to down South.

Smally thanks for clearing that up, I was pretty sure that it was a north / south interpretation of the word. This is the occasional problem with emails, text messages, forums etc!!! much better to speak with each other.

All I can suggest is what you already do, keep in touch by posting here and hopefully over time more will join, and of course, hopefully there will be a show you are able to attend sometime this year. Cheers.

Blimey we have really strayed off topic with this one!

No problem I know it is a lot easier to talk in person to avoid confusion but it isnt always possible. I should realise more than most about the words from north differing from south as I am origionally from Surrey and spent first 16 yrs of my life there. ( sorry for straying off the subject lol ) The cage still would have come in real handy as safehouse bird we have at the moment needs a new one but being a safehouse not going to buy a new one for him maybe if we had known how long he would be with us it may have been different.  Hi Jenny

Do you still have the cage? I could put it to good use, I have just become a safe house.

Jenny has lost her log in details Gregg, but if you pm me I can let you have her number. I was hoping to get the cage as a spare down here but its difficult to get someone to get it at the moment, as everyone is so busy with bird moves etc. Good luck with safe housing, it is really rewarding.
