I don't eat much fruit myself personally but if I was to aquire a parrot in the future i'd need to change my diet and eat that I should really!
im very surprised they will eat chicken tbh "Teallie & Sandy" keep watching me when im eating and it's never put it past me try them on any of that,
Sandy will try almost anything I show her Rice, McVities Mini cheddars but teallie is the fussy one. Hes the one you see first on my Avatar

I will join the Birdline £20 a month but when ive got some spare cash lol
there isn't a thing where you can pay £2 a week is there?

Thanks for the advice about the Greys Diet if im lucky to get one in a few motns years then it will be a fun routine of what to Eat and cook for him/her lol

hi kerry
membership is £20 a year to join not each month
so you pay £20 to join then renew each year.

You can get Tidymix from petfood shops, or you can order it direct from Tidymix (google it). They send it out within 48 hours with an invoice that doesn't have to be paid for 28 days. If you ask, you can get a 10pc discount as part of the Birdline Charity. I would get a small pack from a shop first, to make sure your birds like it. Most birds do. If you buy a big sack delivery's free. I should get commission.

Hi there,

Sorry new to the forum although I have been a birdline member for over a year now.  I would love to offer a forever home to either Zandi or Merlin, i need a friend for my african grey  George.

I have completed a fostering application for Merlin but havent heard anything yet, how long does it normally take.

I had my home check last  year and was expecting 2 greys just before Christmas but was let down at the last minute.

Could you please let me know how my application is going cos if im unsuccessful with Merlin I would like to apply for Zandi.

Many thanks  Debbie

Hi Debbie, You need to apply using the form on the website, all applications will go to Rick our rehoming officer and if you have been sucessful he will call you. I think to start. Zandi has already got a forever home. Where do you live? I am sure your ACO could use your experience, safehousing is always a good way

My one aim is to serve the parrots in my care, to help those to weak to defend themselves, and bring alittle happiness into their lives, I prefer parrots to people but can handle them in moderation :)

Hi Debbie,

I'm dealing with Merlin's applications this weekend - there's alot of them though so please be patient in my getting in touch.
For all who applied for hans and zoe i'm going through their applications over the weekend and from the start of the week.

Like i said though, please be patient as these 3 in particular have ALOT of applicants
