dont know how many people have tried this but i bought organic peas in the pod today for my flock

they just loved foraging for the peas, then dropping the pod, i found they all loved it and not only are the peas good for them they found it good fun, usually as a treat now and again i give them roasted monkey nuts (fit for human consumption) but not often because of the amount of calories, but if they enjoy peas in the pod just as much its a better alternative

My Norm loves French Beans. He shreds the outer case and munches on the tiny beans inside! Hadn't thought of Peas in pods. He does love Mange Tout though!

My one aim is to serve the parrots in my care, to help those to weak to defend themselves, and bring alittle happiness into their lives, I prefer parrots to people but can handle them in moderation :)

We feed them to the birdies at shows... its like the cadburys cream egg advert! 'how do you eat yours!!!!!'
its funny watching how each one eats them a different way... one of my BHC eats the shell and throws the peas!!!!.
